I recently uploaded a video on the Rhythm and Steel YouTube channel to encourage current members (and anyone else who fancies it!) to download a steel pan app on their phone or tablet. It can be used purely for a bit of fun or for any Rhythm and Steel members who don't own their own steel pan to be able to practice at home.

Using the app you can then play along to the traditional Caribbean tune 'Banana Boat Song". I have uploaded the video to the Rhythm and Steel YouTube channel, just follow the link below:
You can use these notes to play along with the video. Usually the verses are passed around the band so different pans have a chance to play a solo but this version can just be played on the tenor steel pan. Every verse and chorus is repeated twice.
